This past weekend, we had the pleasure of participating in the vibrant and lively Victorious Festival, where we set up our stand in the children’s area. Despite the unpredictable British weather throwing some rain our way on Saturday, nothing could dampen the spirits of the festival-goers or our amazing team. The weekend was filled with laughter, joy, and a true sense of community that made the event unforgettable.
One of the highlights of our stand was the face glitter station, which brought smiles to both children and adults alike. The sparkles added a touch of magic to the day, making everyone feel festival-ready and shining bright even through the occasional rain shower. It was wonderful to see so many happy faces leaving our stand with glittering cheeks and big smiles!
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sarah Robinson, a dedicated parent from our centre, who attended the full weekend selling tickets to her raffle. Sarah’s commitment to our cause is truly inspiring, and she’s aiming to raise £10,000 to support our work. Of course, none of this would have been possible without our fantastic team of volunteers. Emma, Drew, Chanice, Matthew, and Bryn were absolute stars over the bank holiday weekend. Their energy, enthusiasm, and dedication ensured that everything ran smoothly, and that everyone who visited our stand had a great experience. We’re so grateful for their hard work and commitment—they truly made a difference.
