Community Fundraising
Every penny raised and every moment of your time given will help to make a massive difference to adults, children, their families and carers of The Rainbow Centre. There are so many ways that schools, social groups or individuals can help us raise awareness and money for The Rainbow Centre. Our community fundraiser is on hand to give you all the advice and guidance you need to make fundraising as easy and fun as possible.
Schools and Youth Groups
Every year schools raise thousands of pounds for their own school and numerous local good causes. If your school chooses a new charity each year, then do consider putting The Rainbow Centre forward. We help local children and adults from 6 months to 100 years so your support will be wide ranging! We would be happy to chat about your ideas. If you are able to come and visit the centre, then we would be delighted to show you around, so that you can see first hand what it is we do here, and more importantly, who we support.
Universities and Colleges
Are you involved in your university RAG week? Is your college looking to support a local charity? The Rainbow Centre is an inspirational centre to visit and see for yourself how much difference we can make to the lives
of local children and adults with a little help from our friends – you guys!
Community Events
We have some exciting events throughout the year including a Burns Night, our annual Family Fun Day, Christmas Craft Fair, a Rainbow Rush for children, the London Marathon and a variety of cycles, walks and runs. Do take a look at our events page for our most current information on these!
Sports, Rotary and Social Clubs
If you are part of a club looking to support a charity we would love to hear from you. Whatever your plan, a small one off event or an annual event we will be able to support you by providing advice, merchandise or simply a few ideas. Call, email or drop in for a coffee and a chat, we would love to hear from you!

So, you want to fundraise for the Rainbow Centre? Whether you decide to hold a bake sale at work or organise a fun day at your local village hall or perhaps go large and organise your own glitzy ball. Whatever you decide we can help you and we really want to hear about it so why not drop in to see us and we can chat about what we can do to help you.
